Terms of Service
Last updated: Oct 21, 2026
Important: please read sections 11, 15 and 16. Data from our services can be wrong, late, altered or unavailable, and you must check it before using it for trading or other financial decisions. We are not liable for trading losses, our total liability is capped under section 15.3 at the fees paid or payable by you in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim (or US$100 if more), and business customers must cover claims brought against us by their own users.

Introduction and Acceptance of Terms
Welcome to Envio! These Terms of Service are an agreement between you and Forward Technology Limited ("Envio", "we", "us"), a company registered in England and Wales (company number 15644973) whose registered office is at Homework, 25 Effie Road, London, SW6 1EL, United Kingdom.
By accessing or using our website and services, you agree to abide by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use our services. You must be 18 or over to use our services. If you use our services on behalf of a company or other organisation, you accept these terms on its behalf and confirm that you have authority to do so.
Business use and consumers: our services are built for developers and businesses. If you use them as a consumer (mainly for purposes outside your trade, business or profession), you keep the rights consumer law gives you, including any right to cancel and to have services provided with reasonable care and skill, and nothing in these terms takes them away. Section 16 does not apply to you, section 15 applies to you only as far as consumer law allows, and you may bring a claim in the courts of the part of the UK where you live. Anyone else confirms that they use our services in the course of business.

Description of Services
Envio provides the following services:
- A development framework named HyperIndex.
- Envio Cloud, a hosted service for deploying and hosting HyperIndex indexers.
- Low-level read-only API accessible as HyperSync and HyperRPC.
These terms also cover our APIs, command-line tools, documentation and website.
We give you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use our services under these terms. Software we publish under its own licence, including HyperIndex, is governed by that licence, and sections 10, 11 and 15 of these terms also apply to it. You keep your rights in your code and content, and you allow us to copy, run and host them as needed to provide our services.
-
User Accounts and API Tokens
Users may create accounts to access and utilize our services. By creating an account, you agree to provide accurate and up-to-date information.
You must keep your account credentials and API tokens secret. You are responsible for all activity and usage fees under your account and API tokens, including use by anyone who obtains them, unless they obtained them through a breach of our systems. If you believe your account or a token has been compromised, revoke the token and tell us promptly at hello@envio.dev; you remain responsible for its use until you do. We may disable any token we believe has been exposed or misused.
-
Payments and Refunds
We offer free and paid plans. Free use is also governed by these terms. By subscribing or making a payment, you agree to the applicable fees and billing terms.
Billing & Payment: Fees are charged upfront based on the selected plan. Any additional unit fees exceeding the included base usage will be billed separately at the end of the monthly billing cycle. We may also invoice usage above your plan before the end of the billing cycle. Payments must be made via the payment methods we support.
No Refunds: Payments are non-refundable, except where these terms, a signed agreement or the law say otherwise. We do not provide refunds or credits for any unused service, partial subscription periods, downgrades, or cancellations.
Pricing Changes: We reserve the right to modify our pricing at any time. Any changes will be communicated in advance and will take effect at the start of the next billing cycle.
Cancellation: Subscriptions can be canceled at any time, but cancellations take effect at the end of the current monthly billing cycle for monthly subscriptions. For annual subscriptions, cancellations will take effect at the end of the current annual billing cycle. Previously paid fees will not be refunded.
Failed Payments & Account Suspension: If a payment fails, we may retry the charge or suspend access to our services until the outstanding amount is settled. Continued failure to make payment may result in account termination.
By using our services, you acknowledge and agree to these payment terms.
-
Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or end your access to all or part of our services, or disable your API tokens:
- immediately and without notice, if we reasonably believe it is needed for security (including a suspected compromised token), to comply with law or sanctions, or to protect our services, our users or others, or if you break these terms or do not pay; or
- for any other reason, on 30 days' notice. If we end a paid subscription this way, we will refund prepaid fees for the unused period.
When your access ends we may delete your indexers, data and logs, so export anything you need first. We are not liable for losses caused by a suspension or termination under this section.
-
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or our services (including non-contractual disputes or claims), are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any such dispute or claim.
-
Changes to Terms
We may change these terms. We will post the new version here with a new date and, for changes that materially affect you, tell you by email or in our services at least 14 days before they take effect. If you do not agree, you may stop using our services and cancel before then, and we will refund prepaid fees for the period after the change. If you keep using our services after that, the new terms apply. Changes do not apply to claims about events before they took effect.
-
Prohibited Conduct
Users are prohibited from engaging in the following conduct while using Envio's website and services:
- Violating any applicable laws or regulations.
- Using our services if you, or anyone you act for, are subject to UK, EU, UN or US sanctions, or are located in a country or region subject to comprehensive sanctions.
- Using our services for fraud, market manipulation, money laundering, sanctions evasion or theft.
- Reselling, sublicensing or giving others access to our services, your API tokens or bulk data from them (for example, to run a competing data API or RPC service) without our written consent. Showing data to the users of your own product is allowed.
- Sharing API tokens outside your organisation, or using several accounts or tokens to get round rate limits or free-plan limits.
- Transmitting any content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, or otherwise objectionable.
- Attempting to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or to any part of Envio's systems.
- Interfering with or disrupting the operation of Envio's website or services.
- Engaging in any activity that could harm, disable, overburden, or impair Envio's servers or networks.
- Uploading or transmitting any viruses, worms, or other malicious code.
- Violating the intellectual property rights of Envio or any third party.
-
Privacy Policy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data. It is not part of these terms.
-
Disclaimer of Warranties
Envio's services are provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude all warranties, conditions and other terms that might otherwise be implied by statute, common law or otherwise, including those of satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy. For paid services we will use reasonable care and skill, subject to section 15. We do not promise that our services will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free, or that any data they provide will be complete, accurate or current. Free, trial and beta features have no uptime or support commitment unless we expressly agree otherwise.
-
Blockchain Data and No Reliance
Our services read, process and serve blockchain data. That data may be inaccurate, incomplete, delayed or altered, for example because of chain reorganisations, faults in blockchain nodes or other third-party data sources, bugs in our software or in your indexer code, outages, or unauthorised access to our systems or yours.
A block number, timestamp or other marker describes the response we sent. It is not a promise that the data is current, complete or safe to act on. We do not undertake to check data before we serve it, or to warn you that it may be wrong.
Envio provides data infrastructure. We do not provide financial, investment or trading advice, and our services are not a system of record. You are responsible for deciding whether data from our services is suitable for your purpose. You must not use it as the only basis for a financial decision, or for an automated action that trades, hedges, liquidates, prices, settles or moves funds. Before any such use you must verify it independently and use safeguards suited to the value at risk, such as cross-checking another source, checking data freshness and setting circuit breakers. If you use it without those checks, you take the risk of the result.
-
Security
We work to protect our services, but no system is completely secure, and we do not guarantee that our services, or data served through them, cannot be accessed, interrupted or altered without authorisation. You are responsible for the security of your own systems, applications, endpoints and API tokens, and for deciding whether our services are secure enough for your purpose.
-
Your Code and Deployments
You are responsible for the indexers, code, dependencies, configuration and content that you write, generate, deploy or run with our services, including code generated by HyperIndex and the dependencies it uses, for their results, and for complying with the licences of any third-party code they use. Review them before you rely on them in production.
We do not promise to back up your deployments. Indexed data can usually be rebuilt by re-indexing; keep your code, and any data you cannot rebuild, in your own systems.
-
Third Parties and Events Outside Our Control
Our services depend on blockchains, node and data providers, cloud and network providers and other third parties that we do not control. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, acts or omissions of blockchains or of third-party node and data providers.
We are not liable for any failure or delay caused by events outside our reasonable control, including chain halts, forks, reorganisations or attacks on a blockchain, failures of upstream providers, denial-of-service or other attacks, and changes in law or sanctions.
We do not promise any uptime, latency, data freshness, completeness or support response time. A service level applies only if it is in an agreement signed by Envio under section 17.
We may add, change or remove chains, endpoints, features and limits. If a change materially reduces a paid service, you may cancel your subscription.
-
Limitation of Liability
15.1 Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law.
15.2 Subject to 15.1, Envio is not liable, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty or otherwise, for any:
- loss of profits, revenue, savings or anticipated gains;
- trading or investment losses, including losses from trades, hedges, liquidations or other transactions made, missed, delayed or failed;
- loss of digital assets or funds;
- loss of business, contracts, goodwill or opportunity;
- loss, corruption or late delivery of data;
- fines, penalties or the cost of regulatory action; or
- indirect, special or consequential loss,
whether the loss is direct or indirect, and even if it was foreseeable or we were told it might happen.
15.3 Subject to 15.1, Envio's total liability arising out of or in connection with these terms or our services is limited to the greater of (a) the fees paid or payable by you for our services in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim and (b) US$100.
15.4 Subject to 15.1, you must bring any claim against Envio within one year of when you became aware, or should reasonably have become aware, of it.
15.5 Each of 15.2, 15.3 and 15.4 is a separate limit. If one is found unenforceable, the others still apply.
15.6 Our prices reflect these limits. You are best placed to guard against the losses in 15.2, through the safeguards in section 11 and your own insurance.
15.7 Sections 15.2 to 15.4 also protect our affiliates and our and their officers, employees and agents.
-
Indemnification
You will indemnify Envio, its affiliates and their officers, employees and agents against all claims, losses, damages, costs and liabilities (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: (a) any product or service you build or run with our services, including claims by your users or customers, even where the claim alleges an error, delay, outage or negligence on our part; (b) your code, content or data; and (c) your breach of these terms or the law. This does not apply to the extent a claim is caused by our fraud or wilful misconduct. We will tell you promptly about any claim we ask you to cover. You may conduct its defence with advisers reasonably acceptable to us, unless we choose to conduct it ourselves at your reasonable cost, and each of us will give the other reasonable help. Neither of us may settle a claim in a way that admits fault for the other or places obligations on the other without the other's written consent. You must not tell your users that Envio is responsible for your product or the data it shows them.
-
Signed Agreements
If you have a separate agreement signed by Envio, such as a HyperSync managed service agreement, that agreement takes precedence over these terms where they conflict. Where that agreement is silent, these terms still apply.
-
General
If any part of these terms is found invalid or unenforceable, that part will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary and the rest of these terms will remain in force. These terms and any agreement signed by Envio are the entire agreement between you and Envio about our services. You have not relied on any statement, promise or description (including on our website, in our documentation or marketing, on our status page or from our staff) unless it is in these terms or a signed agreement. Descriptions of speed, latency, uptime, data freshness, chain coverage or reorganisation handling are not promises. This does not limit liability for fraud.
If we do not enforce a right under these terms, we have not waived it. You may not transfer your rights under these terms without our written consent; we may transfer ours to an affiliate or to a successor of our business. Our affiliates, officers, employees and agents may enforce sections 10 to 16 under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999. Nobody else has any right to enforce these terms.
